FDV Community is a free, village-only space for Fuji Doctor Village residents. Request or offer practical help, share hobbies, hold social events, and pass on goods (giveaway, sale, or barter). Free mutual help is the heart of the project. The site never takes a fee and never holds money. Agreements are between residents; the operator only provides the venue. Volunteer rides stay on the separate carpool site, which we link to.

Why this exists
A simple place for neighbours to help each other, meet up, and stay in touch โ so daily life in the village stays warm and practical. Not a gig marketplace or a job board.
Always free
No charge to use the site. No fee for posts or matches. No commission if residents later agree on money between themselves. We run this to help the village, not to take a cut.
Village residents only
Not an open site for the whole internet. Member features require an approved resident account. Listings and contacts are not a public directory for outsiders or casual snooping.
Getting started
Public pages explain the seven service types from the village concept. After registration, email verification, and staff approval, you can browse listings, post, and express interest. Passwords are never shown on this site.
What this site is for
- Practical help โ labour and skills. Free mutual help first; any paid task only as a clear personal agreement.
- Hobbies, clubs, and finding people with shared interests
- Social events โ BBQ, meetups, sports
- Goods โ free giveaways, occasional sale of your own unused items, or barter
We avoid โjob offer / hire workerโ language. This is neighbour-to-neighbour help and exchange, not employment placement.
Need a ride?
Volunteer ride matching is a separate free service (same spirit, own accounts). Paid private transport is not offered there or here.
